Obverse description Large interlaced royal cypher of King Gustav III ('G III') occupies the central field, surmounted by a royal crown rendered in fine relief. The patriotic motto legend 'FADERNESLANDET' (For the Fatherland) runs along the upper periphery in Latin script, with the cypher and crown together forming the primary heraldic device. The milled edge is clearly visible around the coin's circumference. The overall design is austere and boldly executed, characteristic of late 18th-century Swedish coinage.
