| Obverse description | The obverse presents an engraved baroque vignette at upper centre with a classical allegorical figure flanked by two smaller figures, framed by ornamental cartouches and foliate scroll borders. Two oval unprinted medallion frames are positioned to the left and right of the central vignette, with a circular inked stamp visible at upper right dated 1805. The lower portion carries manuscript text in Portuguese script identifying the note as an apólice of the Real Erário for one thousand two hundred reis, referencing the decree of 2 April 1805 and dated Lisboa, followed by two handwritten signatory lines. |
