Obverse description Armored and laureate bust of Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, facing right, wearing an elaborate ruffled collar and cuirass with ornamental detailing. The effigy is rendered in a bold, slightly crude hammered style characteristic of late 16th-century Low Countries coinage. A beaded inner border surrounds the central field, with the circular Latin legend reading CONCORDIA · RES · PARVÆ · CRESCVNT (By concord small things grow) distributed around the bust.

Reverse description Central device consisting of a bundle of seven arrows — the symbol of the Union of Utrecht — tied with a ribbon, displayed within an oval cartouche framed by an ornate baroque scrollwork surround. The arrows radiate outward within the oval, and the entire composition is enclosed by a beaded border. The surrounding Latin legend reads · MONETA · BELGICA · TRA ·, referencing the Belgic monetary issue of the province of Utrecht (Trajectum).
