Reverse description A crowned oval shield bearing the fleurs-de-lis of France, centrally placed in the field and flanked on either side by an olive branch, the whole symbolising royal sovereignty and peace. The crowned escutcheon is rendered in the heraldic tradition of the Ancien Régime, with the fleur-de-lis arranged in the traditional French royal pattern. The date 1773 appears within the circular legend. The peripheral inscription, derived from Psalm 113, frames the entire composition within a milled border.
