| 背面描述 | Circular field displaying a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Ottoman calligraphy, presenting the extended royal titles of Sultan Ahmed III: Sultan of the Two Lands and Khagan of the Two Seas, son of the Sultan. The text is arranged in sweeping, overlapping lines filling the entire field in a characteristic Ottoman coin style. A fine toothed or beaded border frames the design around the full perimeter of the coin. |

Ahmed III came to power in 1703 after a Janissary revolt deposed his brother Mustafa II — one of the more violent succession moments of the late Ottoman period. The fractional zolota denominations issued early in his reign reflect an ongoing effort to stabilize a billon coinage that had been debased repeatedly through the late seventeenth century, with the .465 fineness sitting at a politically negotiated compromise between fiscal necessity and market confidence.
Kostantiniyye-struck pieces from this reign show considerable striking inconsistency, a consequence of aging dies and uneven flan preparation at the imperial mint.
