Reverse description The reverse is densely inscribed with multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic legend filling the entire field, citing the sultan's titles including 'Khagan' and religious epithets affirming his sovereignty as defender of the faith. The inscription is arranged in a compact, multi-line format characteristic of Ottoman gold zeri mahbub coinage, with the text occupying nearly the full surface of the flan. A continuous beaded border frames the inscriptions, consistent with the obverse treatment.
