| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate tughra of Sultan Mustafa III rendered in flowing calligraphic relief, its characteristic looped and elongated strokes extending boldly across the upper portion of the flan. Below the tughra, a horizontal line divides the field, beneath which the mint name 'Islambol' (Constantinople) appears in Arabic script along with the regnal year. The entire design is enclosed within a finely beaded border typical of Ottoman milled gold coinage of the period. |
