The regnal date legend in Chinese characters (光武十一年, '11th year of Gwang Mu') arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded inner border, flanked by the Hanja inscription 大韓 ('Great Korea') to the left and the Hangul denomination 반원 to the right. The Latin denomination legend HALF WON appears along the lower rim outside the beaded circle. The entire design is enclosed by a reeded outer border. |
