| Obverse description | Bare male head facing right, depicted in the Ibero-Hellenistic artistic tradition, with wavy hair rendered in short locks and a draped mantle secured at the shoulder by a fibula. The facial features are modeled in a somewhat schematic provincial style typical of Hispano-Iberian bronze coinage of the second century BC. The bust occupies the central field, with no legend or inscription present. The flan is irregular and slightly off-center, as characteristic of hammered issues from this region and period. |
