Reverse description A horse prancing or pawing to the right, depicted in a lively, semi-naturalistic Iberian style, with loose reins or bridle straps trailing freely in the air above. The mane is rendered with flowing, schematic lines, and the animal's raised foreleg conveys movement. Below the horse, an Iberian inscription in Levantine semi-syllabic script is placed in the lower field. The overall composition is characteristic of the fractional bronze issues attributed to the Cessetani mint at Tarraco.
