| Obverse description | Facing bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar at center, depicted as a young ruler wearing a traditional Qajar plumed crown (kolah) and military uniform with epaulettes. The portrait is rendered in a naturalistic style typical of late Qajar coinage. The Solar Hijri regnal date ١٣٣٧ (1337 AH) is divided across the field, flanking the portrait on either side. The legend احمد شاه قاجار appears around the portrait. |
