背面描述 Irregular hammered flan displaying a bold Devanagari or Gujarati legend in the central field, enclosed within a rectangular frame formed by double horizontal lines at the top and a single line at the base. The central characters, rendered in a schematic and angular style, likely denote the issuing authority or denomination. To the right, a hook-like ornamental device is visible. The crude workmanship and uneven flan edge are consistent with locally struck princely state coinage of Porbandar.

附加信息

Porbandar's copper fractionals occupy an awkward corner of Indian numismatic history — the state issued coinage across a span of three centuries under the Jethwa Rajput rulers, but precise attribution within that window remains genuinely difficult. The trambiyo denomination itself is a regional unit, the name derived from a Gujarati corruption of "tambo," meaning copper, which tells you exactly how humble the coin's intended role was.

Catalog attribution to C#30 places this among the later local issues, though die-to-die consistency across the series is poor enough that individual specimens rarely match reference illustrations exactly.
