Reverse description Central device depicts the Imperial Iranian lion passant to the right, holding an upraised sabre in its right forepaw, set against a radiant rising sun behind its back — the traditional Shir-o-Khorshid (Lion and Sun) emblem of the Qajar dynasty. A Kiani crown is positioned above the device. Below the lion, a Persian legend denoting the denomination appears in the exergue. The central design is encircled by a wreath of olive and oak branches tied with a ribbon at the base, all within a toothed milled border.
