The design is executed in the bold, somewhat crude relief characteristic of early seventeenth-century hammered German coinage. |

The composition is tightly arranged within the coin's field, with the arms and helmets filling the central design area. A surrounding legend in Latin provides the comital titulature of the joint rulers Volrat VI, Jobst II, and Wolfgang III. The execution reflects the hammered technique typical of provincial German minting of the early seventeenth century. |
