| Obverse description | St. George depicted in armour on horseback, thrusting a lance downward toward a dragon beneath the horse's hooves; the saint faces right within a circular legend. A small orb-and-cross device appears above in the upper field. The surrounding border legend reads in Latin, partially visible as COM(ES) · DO(MINI) · MA(NSFELDIAE) or similar comital titulature. The design is executed in the bold, somewhat crude relief characteristic of early seventeenth-century hammered German coinage. |

| Reverse description | Quartered shield of arms displaying the four-fold heraldic bearings of the County of Mansfeld, surmounted by two elaborate crested helmets with mantling; the date and mintmaster's initials AK appear divided between and around the helmets. The composition is tightly arranged within the coin's field, with the arms and helmets filling the central design area. A surrounding legend in Latin provides the comital titulature of the joint rulers Volrat VI, Jobst II, and Wolfgang III. The execution reflects the hammered technique typical of provincial German minting of the early seventeenth century. |
