| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two wild men (Wildmänner), standing as heraldic supporters facing each other in the central field, each wreathed about the head and loins with foliage, jointly holding between them an uprooted tree. Small heraldic shields appear at the base of each figure. The entire design is executed in the vigorous baroque engraving style characteristic of late seventeenth-century German coinage. The circumferential Latin motto legend, divided between the upper and lower arcs and punctuated by a star stop, reads UT FRONDIBUS ITA FRONDIBUS CONIUNCTISSIMI, meaning 'as united in branches, so united in front,' alluding to the fraternal co-regency of Rudolph August and Anthony Ulrich. |
