Reverse description Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with the quartered Habsburg arms on its breast shield. The eagle fills the central field and is surrounded by a continuous Latin legend denoting Maximilian II's full royal and imperial titles. A small orb or additional heraldic device appears above the crown. The engraving is characteristic of the fine die-work associated with the Joachimsthal mint in the late sixteenth century.
