Obverse lettering MATTHIAS II D G HVNG ET BOHEMI REX
Reverse description Large crowned composite shield bearing the quartered arms of Hungary and Bohemia, with a smaller inescutcheon at center displaying the impaled arms of Austria and Burgundy. The date is divided on either side of the shield, and the entire composition is encircled by the linked chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The Latin legend runs around the periphery with the Joachimsthal mint mark positioned at the conclusion of the inscription.
