| Obverse description | Veiled and draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, her hair dressed in tight curls beneath a widow's veil, the portrait rendered in high relief in the Baroque court style. The mint mark S·C (for Günzburg) appears in the lower field below the truncation. The circumferential legend reads M·THERESIA·D·G· on the right and R·IMP·HU·BO·REG· on the left, separated by the bust. The coin is bordered by a finely executed inner beaded rim with an outer milled edge. |
