Obverse description Two angels flank and support the elaborately ornamented and crowned Hungarian coat of arms, the whole enclosed within a wreath. The arms display the traditional Hungarian quartered shield with the Árpád stripes and the apostolic double cross. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design, citing the full royal and imperial titles of Maria Theresa.

Reverse description The enthroned, radiant, and crowned Madonna is depicted facing, holding the Christ Child on her left arm; she carries an orb in her left hand and a scepter in her right, and is seated upon a crescent. Below the figure, the twofold-crowned Hungarian coat of arms divides the mintmaster's initials, with the date and additional lettering appearing above in the field. The composition follows the established Patrona Hungariae iconographic tradition.
