Reverse description The reverse presents a seven-line Latin commemorative inscription occupying the entire field, reading QVOS / THALAMO / SOCIOS / ADAMANTINA VINCLA / IVGARVNT / IN / SALINA VALLE, followed by the date XII. IVNII and the chronogram CIↃIↃCCXXXIII, meaning 'those whom adamantine bonds have joined as companions in the bridal chamber in Salzdahlum on 12 June 1733.' Three small rosette or floral ornaments appear above and below the inscription as decorative separators. The mint-master initials B I D appear at the bottom of the field beneath the lower ornaments. The lettering is set in well-spaced Roman capitals against a flat, unadorned field, framed by the characteristic reeded edge of the series.
