| Obverse description | Youthful laureate bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, with long flowing hair, draped in armour bearing a heraldic eagle on the breastplate, all within a beaded inner circle. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the characteristic Baroque style of the Hall mint. The surrounding legend reads LEOPOLDVS D G ROM IMP SE AV G H B REX, separated by dots, running along the outer border between two milled rims. |
