| Obverse description | Central field displays the quartered arms of Mansfeld surmounted by an elaborate crowned helmet with ornate mantling and crest, flanked by decorative acanthus scrollwork. The mint-master initials G and M appear prominently to either side of the helmet above the shield. The date is partially incorporated into the lower field of the design. A beaded inner border separates the arms from the encircling Latin legend. The overall composition reflects the vigorous late Renaissance heraldic engraving style characteristic of late sixteenth-century Saxon hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a fully armored knight on horseback in right-facing gallop, rendered with elaborate detail in the late Renaissance manner typical of Mansfeld Spruchtaler issues. The rider carries a sword and is depicted in three-quarter armor with richly worked caparison on the horse. A beaded inner border frames the equestrian figure. The surrounding Latin legend, drawn from Psalm 37:5, conveys the devotional and moralizing character of the Spruchtaler type. The overall composition fills the field dynamically, consistent with hammered half-thaler production of the Eisleben mint in this period. |
