Obverse description Draped and laureate bust of Frederick August I facing right, wearing an elaborate wig with flowing curls and armored shoulders beneath a mantle, rendered in high relief in the baroque style. The effigy displays fine engraving detail in the hair and drapery. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, divided at the base of the portrait.
