| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Francis I facing right, rendered in a neoclassical style with fine detail in the hair and laurel wreath. The neck is bare, with a ribbon tying the laurel at the rear. The encircling Latin legend reads FRANC I.D.G.AVST.IMP.HVNG.B.L.V.G.L.IL.REX.A.A., denoting his imperial and royal titles.
