| Reverse description | Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the field, each head surmounted by a separate crown beneath a central imperial crown, with sceptre and orb held in the talons. The elaborately quartered coat of arms of the Habsburg dominions is affixed to the eagle's breast, incorporating the arms of Austria, Burgundy, Castile, León, and other territories. Mintmaster's initials G-H appear in the lower field flanking the eagle's tail. The date 1650 is incorporated into the surrounding Latin legend, which continues the enumeration of Ferdinand III's titles as Archduke of Austria and Duke of Burgundy, Moravia, and Margrave, with COM T Y abbreviations. |
