Obverse description Full-length armored effigy of Emperor Ferdinand II standing facing, wearing elaborately engraved plate armor with ruff collar, holding an orb in his right hand and resting his left hand on a sword pommel at his side. The figure is rendered in a late Renaissance style with fine detailing on the breastplate and tassets. A circular Latin legend surrounds the figure in the field.
