| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a nine-fold quartered coat of arms of Anhalt, supported by elaborate foliate mantling on either side, surmounted by a crested helm with multiple helmet ornaments including figures and foliage. The date 16-65 appears divided at the lower flanks of the shield, with the mintmaster's initials HP and K flanking the helm. A circular Fraktur blackletter legend runs continuously around the periphery within a beaded border. |
