| 正面铭文 | DA ET ACCIPE ET IUSTIFICA ANIMAM TUAM |
| 背面描述 | The arms of Würzburg and Hutten displayed on a quartered oval escutcheon, surmounted by three ornate helmets with elaborate baroque crests and mantling. The shield bears the traditional ecclesiastical and familial heraldic charges of the bishop. A circular legend in Latin runs along the periphery of the coin, naming the issuing prince-bishop, with no denomination indicated on the reverse. |

Christoph Franz von Hutten served as Prince-Bishop of Würzburg from 1724 until his death in 1729 — a reign of barely five years. Coinage from his tenure is correspondingly scarce across all denominations, and the half thaler in particular saw limited production runs that were never intended for broad circulation.
Würzburg's mint output in the 1720s operated under the constraints of the Franconian Circle's monetary conventions, which regulated alloy standards and weight tolerances across the member states. Hutten's short episcopate left little time for extensive numismatic programs.
