| Obverse description | Armored three-quarter bust of Elector Christian II facing right, wearing elaborately engraved plate armor with a prominent gorget and pauldrons, set within a wreath-bordered inner circle. To the right of the effigy, the Saxon coat of arms is displayed, surmounted by a crested helm. The date appears divided by the bust within the inner field. A Latin legend encircles the design along the outer rim, identifying the ruler as Elector and Arch-Marshal of the Holy Roman Empire. |
