正面描述	Half-length armored effigy of Elector Christian I facing right, sword raised over the right shoulder. The figure is rendered in elaborate three-quarter armor typical of late Renaissance Saxon electoral portraiture. A circular Latin legend surrounding the bust records the titles and name of Christian I, Elector of Saxony. The field is plain, with the design struck in high relief characteristic of late 16th-century Saxon coinage.

背面描述	Seven-line funerary Latin inscription filling the entire field, commemorating the death of Elector Christian I. The text reads: OBIIT / XXV SEPTEM / BRIS ANNO / M·D·XCI· / IACTVRAM / OSTENDET / DIES, indicating he died on 25 September 1591. The Roman numeral date M·D·XCI (1591) is prominently centered in the fourth line. The mintmaster's initials HB (for Hans Biener, Dresden Mint) appear in the lower exergual area. A plain beaded border frames the inscription on all sides.
