| Beschrijving keerzijde | Six-line Latin inscription set within an ornate wreath of laurel and oak branches, tied at the base with a ribbon and adorned with a small floral ornament. The upper three lines reading VERNANTI / PATRIAE / SPEI are separated from the lower three lines by a horizontal rule, with the lower portion reading SCHOLIS·BOICIS· / TRIV·INSTAVR· / MDCCLXXXII. The entire composition commemorates the restoration of the Bavarian trivial schools in 1782, presented as a school prize (Schulpreis) by the Elector. The field is plain and the reeded border frames the design with precision. |
