Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Elector Charles Theodore facing right, rendered in high relief with elaborately engraved cuirass and flowing mantle visible at the truncation. The elector's hair is styled in loose curls characteristic of the late 18th-century Baroque court tradition. The mint mark 'A' for Amberg appears in the exergue below the bust truncation. A Latin legend encircles the effigy along the outer border, interrupted by the bust itself.
