Obverse description Draped bust of Elector Charles Theodore facing right, his hair dressed in the late Baroque fashion with elaborate curled locks and a ribbon bow at the nape, rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail. A small floral mint mark appears in the lower field beneath the truncation. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading from the lower left and continuing clockwise around the periphery, interrupted only by the bust itself. The coin's milled edge is visible at the rim, and the flat field displays a subtle luster characteristic of Munich Mint production.
