Obverse description Draped bust of Bishop Charles Philip of Greiffenklau-Vollraths facing right, wearing a richly ornamented ecclesiastical vestment with elaborate lace cravat and ceremonial robes. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the baroque style, with the subject's long curled wig falling over the shoulders. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy within a beaded border reading CAROL·PHILIPP·D·G·EP·HERB·S·R·I·P·R·FR·OR·DVX.

Reverse description Crowned oval quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg and the personal arms of Greiffenklau-Vollraths, set within an elaborate baroque cartouche of acanthus scrollwork and foliate ornament. The princely crown surmounts the shield, which is topped by a cross. The date 1754 is divided to either side of the arms in the field, with the mint initials B·W·G·N below the shield. The exergual legend reads 20 EINE FEINE MAR·, denoting the fineness standard of the Konventionsthaler coinage.
