Reverse description A standing wildman (Wilder Mann), depicted full-length and facing slightly left, holds a large uprooted tree horizontally across his body with both hands, the branches extending to the right. The figure stands on a ground line and is rendered in the vigorous baroque style typical of Brunswick coinage. The circular legend ALLES MIT BEDACHT, meaning 'Everything with deliberation,' appears around the upper and right periphery, while the date ANNO 1661 and the mintmaster's initials HS are distributed around the lower and left periphery. A beaded inner border frames the design.
