| Beschrijving voorzijde | Armored bust of Count Anton Johann of Nostitz-Rieneck facing right, wearing elaborately engraved plate armor with ornamental shoulder pauldrons and lace cravat, his long curled periwig rendered in fine baroque detail. The portrait occupies the majority of the coin's field in high relief, characteristic of the German baroque minting tradition. The encircling Latin legend reads ANT· IOH· S· R· I· COM · DE NOST· ET RIN· GFN, abbreviated titles identifying the issuer as Count of the Holy Roman Empire, with the engraver's initials GFN (Georg Friedrich Nüremberger) appended at the legend's end. A fine milled border frames the entire design. |
