| Beschrijving voorzijde | The arms of Zürich — a per bend sinister diagonally divided shield, the upper half azure and the lower half argent — displayed centrally, supported on either side by a rampant lion in high relief. The shield is surmounted by a laurel wreath tied at the apex and rests upon a decorative plinth. The circular Latin legend MONETA REIPUBLICÆ TURICENSIS runs along the periphery, separated from the devices by a plain inner border and a reeded outer rim. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Within a laurel wreath tied at the top with a ribbon bow, the denominational and weight standard inscription is rendered in four lines across the open field: XXII / AVF FEINE / MARK / 1794, indicating that 22 half-thalers were cut from one mark of fine silver. The wreath is closed at the base by a second cluster of leaves. The coin's reeded edge frames the entire composition, with no additional legend on the reverse periphery. |
