The encircling legend reads IOSEPHVS II · D · G · ROM · IMP · S · A ·, identifying him as Joseph II, by the Grace of God, Roman Emperor, Semper Augustus. The portrait is well-modelled with fine detail in the hair and armor, consistent with the work of engraver Johann Leonhard Körner. |
