Reverse description Central field bearing multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script arranged in horizontal registers within a decorative cartouche. The legend identifies the issuing ruler as Muzaffar Shah, sultan of Gujarat. The border is adorned with foliate and geometric ornamental devices consistent with the artistic conventions of Gujarat Sultanate hammered coinage.
