| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan bearing bold Arabic calligraphic legends in the Tughra-influenced style typical of the Gujarat Sultanate. The field displays the regnal name and titles of Sultan Qutb-ud-Din Bahadur Shah (AH 932–943 / AD 1526–1536), arranged in multiple registers separated by a horizontal line. The inscription is struck in high relief against a flat, unadorned field, with the AH date numerals visible within the legend. The coin's irregular flan and robust strike are characteristic of hand-struck issues of the period. |
