Reverse description The reverse displays Arabic inscriptions arranged within a square or rectangular cartouche formed by incuse or raised linear borders, a design feature characteristic of Delhi-standard coinage adopted by the early Gujarat Sultanate. The central field contains a multi-line legend in Naskh script, heavily encrusted with green patination. The surrounding margin is plain, and the overall striking is typical of hammered provincial coinage with an irregular, slightly convex flan.
