| Obverse description | Hammered silver field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious and royal legend in Naskh script, reading 'al-sultan al-a'zam nasir al-dunya wa-l-din abu-l-fath', attributing the coin to Sultan Nasir al-Din Mahmud I. The inscription is distributed across the flan in the typical flat, unbordered style of Gujarat Sultanate coinage. The lettering is bold and deeply struck, characteristic of the Mustafabad mint issues of AH 852–917. |
