Obverse description Irregular square flan struck by hammer, bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script arranged across the field. The inscription reads the royal honorific titles of the sultan, identifying him as 'Sultan of Sultans, Exalter of the World and the Faith.' The lettering is raised in relief against a flat, undecorated field, characteristic of Malwa Sultanate billon coinage. The script is densely packed across the available surface, with no border or decorative frame. The overall style reflects the epigraphic tradition of medieval Indian Islamic coinage.

Reverse description Irregular square flan with a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script filling the field, divided by a horizontal line into two registers. The upper register contains the epithet 'Abu al-Muzaffar' (Father of the Victorious), while the lower register bears the sultan's name and title 'Mahmud Shah Khilji.' A small decorative star or pellet ornament appears in the left margin. The raised lettering is boldly rendered against a plain field with no additional ornamentation, consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Malwa Sultanate.
