Reverse description Irregular square flan with a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script filling the field, divided by a horizontal line into two registers. The upper register contains the epithet 'Abu al-Muzaffar' (Father of the Victorious), while the lower register bears the sultan's name and title 'Mahmud Shah Khilji.' A small decorative star or pellet ornament appears in the left margin. The raised lettering is boldly rendered against a plain field with no additional ornamentation, consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Malwa Sultanate.
