| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a bold Arabic inscription in two registers, divided by a horizontal line, all contained within a square cartouche with ruled borders. The legend reads the royal name and titles of Sultan Ghiyath al-Din Muhammad Shah II of Gujarat. The area outside the cartouche contains marginal Arabic legends in the surrounding field. The script is rendered in a robust, angular Naskh style typical of hammered coinage of the Gujarat Sultanate. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, characteristic of hand-struck medieval Islamic coinage. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in two registers within a square cartouche defined by ruled borders, consistent with standard Gujarat Sultanate typology. The legend references the sultan's titles including 'al-Sultan al-A'zam' and related honorifics. Marginal legends in Arabic script occupy the area between the cartouche and the coin's irregular rim. The lettering is deeply struck in Naskh script, with characteristic bold strokes. The overall design follows the epigraphic tradition of the Muzaffarid dynasty of Gujarat. |
