Obverse description Hammered billon flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend disposed across the entire field in bold Naskh script, reading 'Firoz Shah Sultan / Zaraba bi-Hadrat Dihli' ('struck at the Presence of Delhi'). The inscription fills the coin face in horizontal registers with no border or decorative framing, a convention typical of Tughluq-period coinage. The irregular flan exhibits characteristic hammered flan preparation, with partial green cuprous patination visible in the deeper recesses of the field.
