| Obverse description | Central field dominated by bold Arabic calligraphy in multiple lines, characteristic of the Tughluq hammered billon coinage. The legend, rendered in a robust cursive hand, fills the flan to its edges with the royal and religious titulature of Sultan Firuz Shah Tughluq. The lettering is deeply struck in high relief against a flat, unornamented field. The coin's irregular, slightly ragged rim is typical of hammered production. No border or marginal decorative element is present. |
