Obverse description Three vertical columns of four Chinese ideograms each, arranged centrally in the field, reading vertically. A stylized dragon appears in low relief on either side of the inscription, flanking the text symmetrically. A decorative charm or auspicious ornament is positioned above the central inscription block. The design reflects the machine-struck aesthetic of late Qing dynasty provincial coinage, combining traditional calligraphic forms with mechanized production.
