Aversbeschreibung	The Ecuadorian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval shield surmounted by a condor with outstretched wings, flanked by laurel and palm branches tied with ribbons, with a fasces and crossed flags at the base. The shield displays a coastal scene with a steamship on the sea, the volcano Chimborazo in the background, and a radiant sun above the horizon. The circular legend around the upper portion reads 'UN MEDIO SUCRE' with the weight specification 'GRAM.12.5' to the left and the fineness 'LEI 0.900' to the right.
